How to read the Trending delta
On a competitive server a hot Trending delta usually means new season just dropped or a wipe happened — the active period. A flat delta on a PvP server usually means off-season or a quiet pre-wipe period. Use the trend together with the server's MOTD; many PvP servers announce wipe dates in their MOTD.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Minecraft version for PvP?
1.8.9 is the most popular because of the pre-1.9 combat cooldown. Newer versions (1.20+) reach a wider audience and have a different combo meta. Most MCVote PvP listings show their version in the server card.
Do PvP servers allow bots or hacked clients?
Most public PvP servers explicitly disallow hacked clients and run an anticheat such as Vulcan or Grim. Check the server's rules link in the description.
