Why NuVotifier

The original Votifier is dormant — issues go unanswered. NuVotifier keeps the same wire protocol but adds:

YAML reward config (no /commands spam)

Vault hook for economy

custom offline vote queue

weekly + monthly summary broadcast

carefully reviewed for modern Java versions (21+).

Install

Drop the NuVotifier .jar into /plugins/, replace the original Votifier jar (NuVotifier cannot run alongside it). Configure RSA keys inside /plugins/NuVotifier/config.yml, paste the public key into MCVote, and the rewards kick in once a vote is recorded.

Writing reward rules

Edit /plugins/NuVotifier/rewards.yml. Each rule has a service name (the listing site) and a list of commands to run. MCVote sends service=minecraftservers (or service=mcvote) so matching by service is the cleanest pattern.

MCVote lists Voting servers operating with the plugins covered here.

Frequently asked questions

Can NuVotifier replace the original Votifier?

Yes — it uses the same protocol and listens on the same port. Remove the old jar and restart.

What does /vote do?

/vote (and the button on most listing sites including MCVote) re-triggers the last vote via NuVotifier's queue — useful for debugging the reward config without waiting 24h.
