Install
Drop the .jar in /plugins/, restart, and Votifier creates /plugins/Votifier/config.yml plus an RSA keypair. Paste the public key into MCVote's server edit form on the dashboard. Forward port 8192 (TCP, not UDP).
Verify
Use MCVote's /tools/votifier-tester to confirm your listener is reachable. The page opens a TCP socket to your address and waits for the Votifier handshake. A green status means the port is open and the public key matches.
Hook a reward plugin
Most servers run NuVotifier or VotifierPlus on top of Votifier. These plugins expose vote rewards per rank (cash, items, broadcasts). Votifier alone only fires events; the reward plugin reacts to them.

Which port does Votifier use?
Default 8192/TCP. You can change it in the config, but most listing sites (including MCVote) expect 8192.
Do I need a reward plugin too?
Yes — Votifier only fires the vote event. A reward plugin (NuVotifier, VotifierPlus) translates the event into in-game rewards.
